Veins Treatments
1. Sclerotherapy
R1950 – R3950
Sclerotherapy is an effective treatment for smaller varicose veins that involves injections of a liquid or foamy solution into the problematic veins. This procedure causes the walls of the veins to become “sticky” and stick together, blocking the flow of blood through the vein. The solution then breaks down the vein into a fibrous cord that the body naturally absorbs.
The treatment is performed in-office and typically takes between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the size and location of the veins. It’s important to note that wearing a compression stocking for up to a week after the treatment is necessary.

How is the procedure performed:
Either a foamy or liquid solution sclerosant is injected with a tiny needle into the problematic veins. This causes the walls of the veins to become “sticky” and stick together, stopping the flow of blood through the vein. The sclerosant breaks the vein down to become a sort of fibrous cord that your body then naturally absorbs.
This in-office treatment takes between 30 min and 1 hour depending on the size and area to be treated.
Please Note! It is necessary to wear a compression stocking afterwards for up to 1 week.
- Wear comfortable, loose fitting pants or clothing on the day.
- Compression stockings have to be purchased in advance. Please ensure you have yours ready and bring it with on the day of treatment.
- Wear your compresion stocking
- Avoid sun exposure and strenuos exercise.
2. Veins Treatment:
Spider Veins
Laser Nd:YAG
R1950 – R4500
Spider veins on the face are effectively treated with Nd:YAG laser.
Nd:YAG laser is an effective treatment for spider veins on the face. The laser targets the interior of the vein with light energy, causing the vein wall to seal shut and shrink. This non-invasive treatment is safe and has minimal side effects, making it a popular choice for those seeking a quick and effective solution to their spider veins.
The procedure takes between 30 min and an hour, depending on the size and the area to be treated.
3. Veins Treatment:
Haemangioma’s
R1750 – R3950
Nd:YAG laser is an effective treatment for haemangiomas, which are vascular formations that appear as bright red spots or growth on the skin. This laser works by targeting the blood vessels inside the haemangioma with high-energy light pulses, causing them to shrink and close off. As a result, the haemangioma fades and often disappears completely, leaving behind smooth, clear skin.
A skin assessment is required before deciding on a treatment.
