What are Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Dermal Fillers ?
HA is a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps provide fullness and elasticity. Hyaluronic acid diminishes as we age, causing skin to lose volume, causing wrinkles, fine lines and folds to appear. Demal Fillers made from HA can be injected to replace lost volume, to increase volume and diminish fine lines and wrinkles.
How are Dermal Fillers treatments performed:
A numbing cream can be applied to the area prior to treatment, should you wish. The area to be treated is then injected with HA dermal fillers using a very fine needle. The Injections are not painful except for a slight sting initially from the injection.
What can you expect post treatment?
The area you’ve had treated may be slightly swollen or have slight bruising. These heal quickly over the next few days.
